Did Bill English jump the gun by suggesting changes to superannuation in election year?
That's what The Country's Jamie Mackay wants to know when he caught up with the Prime Minister today.
English stands by his decision to raise the age of retirement to 67 and doesn't believe it will impact negatively on Millennials saying "every generation has its challenges".
Later in the interview Mackay can't resist saying that "Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters" has a nice ring to it.
Bill English suggests the election focus won't actually be on Winston, it will be aimed at the Greens and Labour and how there is no longer a "moderate alternative government".
