The Country's Jamie Mackay loves to give Jeremy Rookes a bit of grief about his aristocratic upbringing.

The Country's Jamie Mackay loves to give Jeremy Rookes a bit of grief about his aristocratic upbringing.

It's Jeremy Rookes! He's a sheep and beef farmer from Central Hawkes Bay and The Country's Jamie Mackay likes to give him stick for being awfully posh.

To be fair he did learn French and Latin at Christ's College. Does he think te reo should be compulsory in schools?

Jamie catches up with Rookes to pick his brains about the Ruataniwha Dam, and of course Brexit which has been the big topic of the past couple of weeks.

Does Jeremy Rookes think Britain has made the right decision? Too right old bean!
