The Best of The Country brought to you by Rabobank and Jamie Mackay. This week's interviews that make the cut are, Bill English, Richard Loe, Damien O'Connor, Richard Subtil, Winston Peters and Jack Keeys.

It's The Best of The Country with Rabobank and Jamie Mackay. What better way to ease into the New Year than by listening to Jamie's favourite picks from the week that was!

This week's interviews were:

Bill English: Jamie caught up with the PM in Berlin to discuss Theresa May, Brexit, Angela Merkel, an FTA with the EU and Donald Trump.

Richard Loe: The Canterbury farmer and former All Blacks hard man talked farming and Farmlands Cup footy in Darfield on February 4.

Damien O'Connor: Labour's Primary Industry Spokesman was at the party's first caucus of the year in the Wairarapa. Jamie and Damien (Jamien?) talked Silver Fern Farms, Bill English and whether Winston should go down the Pike River mine.

Winston Peters: The New Zealand First leader shared his concerns over drought in Northland, Bill English's effort in Europe and free trade agreements in general.

Jack Keeys: Is a final year student at Waikato University who co-ordinated the Rabobank Agri-Leadership Programme, attended this week by 31 secondary schools students from the Waikato region.
