Fonterra has its first national My Connect Conference coming up on the 2-3 May, 2018 and the theme will be innovation.

Head of Fonterra Farm Source in the Bay of Plenty Lisa Payne spoke to The Country Early Edition's Rowena Duncum about what farmers can expect at the conference.

Dairy is an innovative industry which comes from farmers sharing their ideas, but it's always good to get an external perspective says Payne.

With that in mind, Fonterra has Olympic cyclist Simon van Velthooven and leading mental skills coach and All Blacks manager Gilbert Enoka as a guest speakers.
