Steve Hollander is the founder of the inaugural Norwood New Zealand Rural Sports Awards.
The awards are held on the 10th March 2017 at Palmerston North and will celebrate New Zealand rural sportspeople who can often "fly under the radar" according to Hollander.
Mahe Drysdale will speak at the eventand nominations are coming in for the four categories, Rural Sportsman, Sportswoman, Youth and Contribution to the Rural Industry.
Jamie Mackay is on the judging panel but it's not established whether he is accepting bribes or not...
