Avengers star Chadwick Boseman has gone viral for his hilarious attempt to avoid spoiling anything from the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame.
In an interview at CinemaCon, where the Black Panther star was promoting his new film 21 Bridges, he was asked how he felt about the level of excitement for Endgame.
But Boseman stayed cagey because - spoiler alert - his character T'Challa, aka Black Panther, died in Avengers: Infinity War.
In a deadpan delivery, Boseman answered: "It's great, but I'm dead. So I can't answer any questions about that".
When the interviewer asked for more details, including the status of the upcoming Black Panther sequel, Boseman stayed secretive, simply saying: "I'm dead".
The clip has gone viral, with Twitter users giving Boseman's deadpan delivery the meme treatment.
Black Panther met an untimely end during the climactic battle of Infinity War, evaporating into ash when the villainous Thanos used the Infinity Gauntlet to wipe out half of all life in the universe.
He was killed alongside heroes such as Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Bucky Barnes, Groot, Falcon, Doctor Strange, Mantis, Drax, Peter Quill, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, The Wasp and Shuri.
Avengers: Endgame is released in New Zealand cinemas on April 24.
