Chris Brown was arrested Thursday evening (local time) in West Palm Beach, Florida in connection with an outstanding warrant from a neighboring area, police told TMZ.
It was not immediately clear what the warrant was issued for, according to the outlet.
Brown, 29, went directly from his concert at Coral Sky Amphitheater into police custody, according to the outlet, the Daily Mail reports.
The Tappahannock, Virginia native recently made headlines after he plunked down US$350,000-plus on a Rezvani Tank SUV that's bulletproof, the outlet reported.
The Grammy winner has past dealt with legal issues, most infamously his 2009 arrest in connection with his brutal beating on his then-girlfriend Rihanna in a Lamborghini in Hancock Park, California following a pre-Grammys party.
He subsequently pleaded guilty in June 2009 to assault with the intent of doing great bodily injury in connection with the incident.
He was also arrested in 2013 in connection with felony assault in Washington D.C., and for assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles in 2016.
Currently touring for in support of his album Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour, the Forever singer is slated to take the stage for three shows in the Southeastern U.S. over the next few days.
Those dates include Friday in Tampa, Florida at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre; Saturday, at Pelham, Alabama's Oak Mountain Amphitheatre; and on Monday at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour runs through August 4 with a final show set for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
