Music mogul Jay Z reportedly wants to make Harry Styles one of the biggest artists in the world during the singer's One Direction hiatus.
The rapper and producer, who owns record label Roc Nation, is said to have promised to give Styles all the help he needs to forge a successful solo career.
Jay Z, who has mentored the likes of Rihanna and Kanye West, told UK newspaper the Daily Star Sunday, "Harry doesn't need any help with exposure, everybody in the world knows who he is.
"But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist.

"I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers - and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year."
Styles, who is currently holidaying with supermodel and rumoured new girlfriend Kendall Jenner in the Caribbean, isn't wasting time with his solo career - he has registered four new songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), titled 5378 Miles, Already Home, Coco, and Endlessly.
He recently suggested One Direction's break would last 18 months, while confirming the boy band will regroup after the hiatus, which began just before Christmas.
