A man arrested outside Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home has been charged with trespassing and running from police.
Jason Luis Rivera was apprehended on Saturday morning - reportedly armed with a pair of scissors - after police were called when he was found on Miley's property.
According to TMZ.com, the Los Angeles City Attorney said he was charged with two misdemeanour counts of trespassing and one misdemeanour count of resisting arrest.
The 19-year-old singer and actress was not as home at the time of the incident.
While being led away by the police, he reportedly claimed he knew Miley and that he had been married to her.
A local TV station heard him telling officers: "I am friends with Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years."
An insider close to the situation claimed Cyrus would not be scared away from her gated mansion because she has a good security team around her.
A source said: "She doesn't plan on moving from her home and will not allow crazy people ruin her life.
"When she is home, she has her own security team that she trusts and is confident they would protect her.
"She will not be affected by the incidents that have happened recently at her house. She is relieved that no one was injured and hurt but moving is not an option."
