A contestant from The Bachelor NZ wants to clarify a satirical social media post she made asking Immigration NZ to "sway the rules" for her.
Poppy Salter, who is perhaps best remembered for farting on a date with Art Green during filming for the reality show, recently spoke of her struggles to stay in New Zealand.
The yoga instructor, who originally hails from the UK posted on Facebook again yesterday thanking everybody for their support and messages, while clearing "a few things up" about her previous statement.
"I would never expect to be exempt from the rules that everybody has to follow when going through the partnership residency process," she said.
Commenters came out in support of the bubbly blonde wishing her good luck, with one saying: "New Zealand would be lucky to have you".
Salter did not go into detail about the kind of problems she faced with Immigration New Zealand, but did mention her "application hasn't even been lodged yet".
Fellow reality star Martin Laidlaw aka The Block NZ's 'hot builder' from Scotland was banned from appearing on the TV3 reality show after his visa request was denied.

A petition soon surfaced and his visa was eventually extended for 12 months, he too hoped to apply for permanent residency.
Salter is currently in Vietnam with boyfriend, Jacob MacDonald, 26, a dive instructor whom she met after being eliminated from The Bachelor NZ.
She is blogging about her experiences online and last night added photo showing support for the All Blacks from Vietnam, saying "we'll be watching!"
