She was ridiculed along with James Franco for their attempt at hosting the 83rd Academy Awards back in 2011.
And it seems Anne Hathaway is all too aware of how their duties as Oscar hosts went down - and is in no hurry to do it again.
Asked in a recent interview what advice she would give to this year's host Neil Patrick Harris, Anne said: "Do the opposite of what I did, and you'll be fine."
Anne was then asked by the New York Times what she thought had gone wrong with it.
"I think it's so obvious that it doesn't even need to be identified. He'll be great. He's a natural host," she replied.
Critics gave scathing reviews of the pair's "clumsy and downright painful" skits on their fateful night of hosting.
The night opened with a montage of Hathaway and Franco delving into the mind of former Oscar winner Alec Baldwin in an Inception-inspired moment, narrated by the smooth-voiced Morgan Freeman.
And things continued to get more and more surreal, as the pair poked fun at The King's Speech, which took home four Oscars, The Fighter and True Grit, as well as The Social Network and Back to the Future.
It had been hoped that employing Anne and James as hosts would give the ceremony a young and fresh feel.
But instead, their inexperience as all-round entertainers was exposed.
The 87th Academy Awards will take place on 22 February 2015.
