A new survey reveals seven out of ten working New Zealanders are actively keeping their eye out for a new job.
The latest Watercooler Report from seek.co.nz shows more than 40 per cent of respondents plan to leave their current role in the next six months.
SEEK General Manager Annemarie Duff says employee morale is clearly down. She says while people are looking for a change, what they really want is a bit of acknowledgment for the work they do.
Ms Duff says respondents believe employers can also keep people motivated by listening to their workers, and offering incentives.
