Alice Drummond, who starred in Friends, Doubt and played the spooked librarian in Ghostbusters, has died.
The New York Times reports that the veteran character actress died in New York City aged 88.
The petite actress often commanded the screen. None more so than in Ghostbusters where flying library cards left us all experiencing her horror.
Drummond became a Broadway regular in the 1960s and 70s.
Drummond also appeared in

Drummond and her husband separated in 1975 and divorced the next year. No immediate family members survive.
