Nineties pop star Finley Quaye has been convicted of assault after headbutting a terminally ill friend in a row over Game of Thrones.
The Scottish musician, who scored a massive hit in 1997 with his cruisy single Even After All, denied a charge of attacking Julian Ashley back in June.
NME.com reported Quaye shouted, "Aren't I more important than Games of Thrones?" before headbutting Ashley, causing "a split to his nose and extensive bruising".
Quaye reportedly took exception to Ashley watching Thrones rather than paying him attention when he arrived at his flat.
Ashley is reportedly suffering from terminal cancer and needs a mobility scooter and home help, NME.com reported.
"I'm shocked someone would do this to a person as ill as I am," he said in a statement read in court.
Quaye, 42, was convicted and ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work and pay £620 in costs.
