The hunt for the role of the young Han Solo is nearing completion.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jack Reynor best known for his work in the fifth Transformer film, the Kingsman's Taron Egerton and American actor Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Ceasar!) are at the top of the list for the Star Wars role.
The trio were picked from a group of around ten actors, rumoured to include Ansel Elgort and Miles Teller, who met with the film's directors, THR said.
In December, Disney searched to find the right actor for the younger version of the character made famous by Harrison Ford in 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope.

The 73-years-old actor's appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens played an enormous role in the movie's box office and commercial success.
The new Han Solo will debut in a Star Wars spin-off movie scheduled for 2018.
