Kim Kardashian and her world famous derriere have arrived in Melbourne, as the pop culture queen opened up about her nude magazine photoshoot.
The mum to 17-month-old daughter North squeezed into a custom latex Atsuko Kudo dress to walk the red carpet, saying little to journalists but posing for selfies with adoring young fans.
Kardashian earlier failed in her attempts to balance a champagne glass on Rove McManus' behind, reminding The Project co-host she has a bigger booty.
She defended her Paper magazine pictures taken by photographer Jean-Paul Goude, saying she did the nude shoot to boost her own self-esteem.
"That was something that I wanted to do to make myself confident," she told the Network Ten.
"It taught me to do what you want to do - everyone should do what they're comfortable with and I'm never one to preach but I felt really positive and really good about myself. I love the photos, I did it for me (and) I hope other people like them."
Kardashian said when she was about eight months pregnant with North she promised her sisters she would have nude photos taken when she felt like she had her body back. She said her back hurt for about a week after the shoot.
"I used muscles ... it was definitely not comfortable and things were falling all over the place," she said.
The 34-year-old said she doesn't mind the memes that have popped up mocking her Paper photos.
"You have to have a sense of humour about it. I'm just glad that I can now eat a little bit because I was trying to really not eat so much that week."
Kardashian is scheduled do a public appearance at Chadstone shopping centre on Wednesday before leaving to guest star in the Indian version of reality television show, Big Brother.
