Kiwi band The Phoenix Foundation have shared a stage with stadium rockers Coldplay on live British music show Later With Jools Holland.

The Wellington group performed their song Buffalo last night, sandwiched between performances by Coldplay, rapper Professor Green and the Waterboys.

It's the second Kiwi band to perform on the show in Holland's latest season, with Neil Finn's Pajama Club flying over earlier this month.

The Phoenix Foundation are also playing a show at London venue The Garage on Thursday night.
