Rowena Duncum speaks to GEA's Head of Farm Equipment Sales, Jason Quertier at Fieldays.

Content supplied by GEA

Work-life balance is incredibly important for dairy farmers and GEA is hoping to help reduce their workload with some innovative farm equipment.

The Country's Rowena Duncum spoke to GEA's Head of Farm Equipment Sales, Jason Quertier at Fieldays to find out a bit more about their products.

Fewer seconds spent on each cow can result in fewer hours in the working day and GEA utilises some "very clever technology," to enable farmers to shave off a bit of time from their busy schedules says Quertier.

"A couple of seconds a cow, times the number of cows, times the number of milkings, it's hours per day less in the dairy."
