The Minister of Economic Development Steven Joyce is rebutting accusations his office has been pressuring media over their coverage of the Saudi Sheep deal scandal.
Labour MP David Parker's made the allegation in Parliament today saying Mr Joyce's office contacted a media outlet to complain about how it had mentionedthe minister in a Saudi Sheep story.
Mr Joyce rejects the assertion.
He says he understands from his press secretary that it wasn't a complaint at all, which was met with laughter.
