If you couldn't make it to the Hilux New Zealand Rural Games this year, never fear, there will be an hour-long highlights show broadcast this Sunday 19th March.
The third annual Games - and the first in Manawatu - were a huge success last weekend with thousands of spectators turningup despite the rain. There were championship events along with have-a-go contests and Running of the Wools.
There were too many highlights to mention here but you can watch it all again this Sunday when the hour-long highlights show is first broadcast at 4pm on TVNZ 1.
Sunday 19th March, 6.05pm - Duke Friday 14th April (Good Friday), 7.10am - TVNZ 1 Anytime after first play on TVNZ OnDemand.
This is the Rural Games' first year on TVNZ after two years with Sky Sports and they're hoping for high viewing figures to maintain the Games' growth and promote rural sports to a whole new audience.
