Man dies after tractor rolls near Blenheim

A Marlborough man has died after his tractor rolled down a bank on a farm near Blenheim.

The man was found by his wife several hours after the accident about 5pm yesterday, the Marlborough Express reported.

He was unable to move and partially submerged in a cold creek.

The man was taken to Wairau Hospital with a broken arm, a punctured lung, broken ribs and a back injury.

He died of his injuries in hospital overnight.
