Tickets to Alexandra's WoolOn are available today.

Tickets to Alexandra's WoolOn are available today.

Tickets for Alexandra's WoolOn creative fashion event go on sale today.

The long-running fashion extravaganza celebrates new and creative design in woollen clothing.

This year's theme would be "dramatic" and the event will be held in a building in Ngapara St, on August 17 and 18. WoolOn co- chairwoman Leonie Williamson said entries were strong and the event brought together many community organisations and was a welcome winter happening for the region.

"We have people from different backgrounds on our committee and a whole network of others who help with the show."

ISite centres in the Central Otago district would begin selling tickets today, Mrs Williamson said.Tickets were also available via phone or online.
