Woman admits stealing nearly $250,000 from Fonterra

A woman took nearly $250,000 from dairy giant Fonterra before fleeing to the other side of the world, the Hamilton District Court heard.

Louise Michelle Bowers, 24, of Ohinewai, admitted forgery and unlawfully using a document to take the $246,000.

She was remanded in custody for sentencing on May 10.
