A Milton dairy farmer with a pet lamb that thinks he is a cat has captured footage of him squeezing through his cat-door.

Marc Hyslop, who farms just south of Milton, said their one-week old lamb - who they named Lamb Lamb - slept with their seven kittens and followed the kittens and his children wherever they went.

And like the kittens he used their cat-door.

"He definitely thinks he is a cat."

It would soon be a struggle for fast-growing Lamb Lamb to make it through the cat-door and Mr Hyslop reckoned he would be too big within a week.

His four children, aged between one and five, thought Lamb Lamb was a "hard-case".

"He's just part of the family."
