Jason Uden (left), Jamie Mackay and Jeremy Rookes.

Jeremy Rookes and Jason Uden interrupt The Country host Jamie Mackay and his producer Dom's arguing long enough for an interview today.

Rookes is glum as the weather's no good round his way in Central Hawkes Bay. Uden's grumpy with his weather too and to make matters worse he's being chased by a train. The perils of mobile phone interviews.

This week the lads talk about the recent dairy upswing but Rookes is more concerned with the lot of sheep farmers.

The Js want to know - when are sheeep farmers going to get some good news?
