Checking a horse's teeth during a regular check-up.

Vet Services Hawke's Bay aims to provide the very best care for your equine companion.

Keeping your horse happy, healthy and performing at its best is our main goal.

Within the Vet Services team of veterinarians and support staff are a number who are actively involved throughout the horse community of Hawke's Bay, and horses are never too far from the conversation around the practice.

Routine preventative treatments are key to maintaining a healthy horse, and the team is happy to cater to your horse's individual needs.

We can provide advice ranging from equine medicine, reproduction, nutrition, dentistry, worming and vaccination programmes.

And in the case of emergencies such as colic, severe lameness and wounds, we have an experienced team of vets with a wide range of equipment and skills, allowing us to service most equine veterinary requirements, including radiography, endoscopy and ultrasonography.

Our vets are committed to continuing education and regularly attend courses and conferences both in New Zealand and abroad. We are only ever a phone call away.
