It's the whole show in one go! Today The Country is brought to you by a solo Jamie Mackay.

Jamie is multitasking because Dom is having another day off. Seriously - who authorised that?

Never mind, this means you get to listen to Elton John's greatest hits because Dom Boy isn't here to veto it.

First up it's (spoiler alert) the winner of the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Competition. Those waiting to watch the television coverage may wish to skip this section.

Then it's the turn of Canterbury farmer Richard Loe who talks about the big dry is still continuing in his region and his approach to lamb prices.

It's Monday which means a dose of levity with rural raconteur Jim Hopkins. He wonders if Dom isn't here because of the big Lotto win in South Dunedin?

The Great Debate is also on a Monday, today David Broome and Don Nicolson go head to head and even Mrs. Broome makes a cameo appearance!

Finally Jamie catches up with Tony Leggett for his weekly chat about the big stories in this week's issue of the New Zealand Farmers Weekly.
