It's the whole show in one go! Today The Country is brought to you by the World Shearing and Woolhandling Championships which are taking place in Invercargill.
Our intrepid host Jamie Mackay is on site keeping us up to date with the latest. Meanwhile, back at The Country HQ Domis struggling to find woolly songs...
On with the show: First up is Prime Minister Bill English. Today he talks shearing, tax cuts, John Key, Winston Peters and Donald Trump! He also deftly avoids a shearing competition with Sir David Fagan...which is wise.
Speaking of Sir David, Jamie catches up with his son Jack Fagan. Jack is no slouch when it comes to shearing but his famous father's reputation doesn't faze him. Jack says Sir David will always be "Sir Dad" at home.
Next up we talk a bit of milk with Fonterra Chairman John Wilson who gives us an update on the latest Global Dairy Trade Auction result.
Then it's all about shearing! Jamie chats to former World Champion Aussie Shannon Warnest, followed by former world champ and NZ shearing legend Alan MacDonald.
Finally we catch up with our Aussie correspondent Chris Russell. Today he talks cricket, beef, crocodile meat and horses. Bonzer!
