It's the whole show in one go!

Today The Country is brought to you by a Silver Fern Farms fight as Winston goes head to head with Rob Hewett over the Shanghai Maling deal. All brought to you by the shouty lad-pop of Oasis. Happy Birthday Liam Gallagher!

On with the show: First up it's Winston Peters. The New Zealand First leader is at his curmudgeonly best when talking about Silver Fern Farms and the lift in the Fonterra forecast payout.

Then we give the floor to Rob Hewett so the Silver Fern Farms Chairman can refute Winston's claims that the Shanghai Maling deal could see SFF jilted at the altar!

What's up with Nathan "Party Times" Penny? There's been another GDT auction so we ask ASB's Rural Economist if there will be a $6 payout party at Pollyanna Penny's?

NIWA's weather forecaster Ben Noll breezes in and says the fine start to spring is set to continue with meaningful rain possible for the dry regions of Wairarapa and North Canterbury.

Next it's James Shaw's turn at the mic. The Green Party co-leader comments on the two big farming stories of the day and the Havelock North water contamination issue.

Finally we head to the West Coast to catch up with cow cocky Andy Thompson who comments on the glorious weather, the lift in Fonterra's payout, Silver Fern Farms and Winston.
