Today's show is actually berry good. Ahem.

Today's show is actually berry good. Ahem.

Kia Ora! It's the whole show in one go. Today The Country is brought to you by te reo lessons and music that Dom Boy likes. Which means Metallica.

The musical theme does not stop Jamie Mackay from trying to sneak Careless Whisper in today's playlist. Perhaps he's fondly remembering his interview with John Key yesterday?

The lads had a special guest in the studio today. Erin Hoskins knows her way around te reo and she had the unenviable task of trying to teach it to Jamie Mackay; who can't get her last name correct in English. It's Hoskins Jamie...not Hosking. Perhaps Mackay is thinking of another titan in broadcasting apart from himself?

Te Radar phones in for an update on the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final. Will he enter the 'why isn't it live on the TV?' debate?

Our freelance rural commentator Don Carson also chats about the FMG Young Farmer Final. As well as this he ponders if farmers should be able to choose the right to use GM technology.

It's all about te reo and the Ruataniwha Dam with well-bred sheep farmer Jeremy Rookes.

Then we get our weekly dose of politics from Barry Soper, a weather update with Lisa Murray and what's happening in the world of wool with Jim Paterson.

There's also a lot of childish infighting between Jamie and Dom...sigh.
