Dom has returned from holiday with some classic Beatles tunes and a tune-up for his old pal Jamie Mackay. On today's show: Phil Duncan, Sir David Fagan, David Broome and Don Nicolson and Jim Hopkins.

It's the whole show in one go! Today The Country is brought to you by the return of Dominic George. Jamie Mackay's trusty sidekick is back after a month's holidaying and is refreshed and ready to go with some classic tracks from The Beatles.

Cue awkward "welcome back mate I missed you" comments from both men. Bless.

On with the show: First up it's Phil Duncan. Monday's resident weather expert talks about wet places, dry places, cold places, warm places and Donald Trump. Jamie also asks Duncan what has happened to summer...

Sir David Fagan is on next. Today the world's most decorated shearer previews next month's World Shearing and Woolhandling Champs in Invercargill and we tell a lucky listener that they're going!

Panel time with David Broome and Don Nicolson. Jamie catches up with two former Feds with a love of farming but differing political agendas.

Finally we finish the show with Jim Hopkins. Today our rural raconteur looks at protests, both here and abroad, and has a novel idea how to prevent the declining numbers in the sheep industry.
