It's the whole show in one go! Today on The Country we're talking milk and playing 80s tunes.

Why? Today in 1983 New Zealand finally won their first cricket test in England. This was after an exhausting 29 attempts! So today's songs are from 1983.

On with the show: First up the big story of the day; Fonterra's chairman John Wilson talks about today's announcement about the earnings per share forecast for the 2016-17 season and the farmgate milk price forecast remaining at $4.25.

Then it's Monday's great debate with Steve Wyn-Harris and Grant McCallum, a Central Hawkes Bay sheep farmer and a Northland cow cocky. They ponder Pokémon Go and the Pearly Gates.

Competition time with Wendy Boniface. She's a Lochiel lifestyle farmer and today had a crack at the Tru-Test Trivial Pursuit. Will she win a new Tru-Test XRS2 EID Reader valued at $2300?

Next Jamie catches up with two high-profile women, Courtney Mackay and Emma Diamond. One hails from a Marlborough vineyard, the other the daughter of a Wairarapa stock agent. They tell us why they want The Country to help them.

Let's catch up on the world of farming with Tony Leggett. The managing editor of the New Zealand Farmers Weekly looks at the big stories in this week's issue.

Finally it's weather with Phil Duncan. He's childishly saying "I told you so" to NIWA about the continuing dry in North Canterbury.
