Flashback to Lotto in 1987 which was possibly the last time Dom won something...

1987 is being celebrated on The Country today. Why? It's the anniversary of the first Lotto tickets sold in New Zealand. So Dom is giving us a musical trip down memory lane - starting out with some GnR - Rawk!

Jamie will be back on Monday so it's your last chance to hear some guitars before the synth pop begins again.

On with the show: Lisa Murray is up first to fill us in on the Met Service Weather report and the massive weather feature hovering on the horizon.

Then it's The Don Carson Farming Muster. Our freelance rural commentator joins us from the capital to update us on what's happening in his world and the world of farming.

Today's panel comprises of Lord Jeremy Rookes of Farming who is exhausted from skiing, and Drug Detection Agency Overlord Graeme Smith who is accused of being a bogan.

Jim Patterson calls in to update us on the world of wool and takes advantage of Mackay's absence to talk about snooker and rugby.

It's Friday so it's time for The Country's Political wrap with Barry Soper. US warships and Joe Biden are hot topics.

Finally it's the TAB sports bet of the week with Grant Nisbett. Today it's all about Super Rugby. How could it not be?
