North Canterbury Federated Farmers president Lynda Murchison says it's too early to assess the full damage of the earthquakes but infrastructure damage and stock water are two of the major problems.

Monday's weather expert Phil Duncan spent the night tracking the tsunami threat and he warns of more unwelcome intrusions from Mother Nature.
