It's the whole show in one go! Today The Country is all about the Global Dairy Trade Event.

Today's music is brought to you by a positively grungy 1991.

Why?

On this day Otago won the National Provincial Championship against North Harbour. So a solo Dom is kicking it off with Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.

On with the show: First up with have Fonterra Chairman John Wilson.

He talks about the GDT result (of course) but Dom also wants to quiz him about Fonterra's Governance vote and...cocaine.

Moving on...Winston Peters Wednesday is upon us.

Today the New Zealand First leader talks rural depopulation, dairy and immigration.

ASB Rural Economist Nathan Penny rocks up next and he's still positive despite the slightly negative GDT result.

Then NIWA weather forecaster Chris Brandolino let's us know what's happening with Spring...after he compares family trees with Dom.

Finally we round out the show with West Coast Cow Cocky Andy Thompson.

He manages to talk weather and calving with Dom as Mackay's not around to tease him mercilessly.
