Monday's resident weather expert says the final week of September will be one of the coldest of the month for some regions but the final weekend looks mild as a typical spring pattern kicks in.

Guy Trafford:

Is a senior lecturer in Ag Management at Lincoln University who is calling for expressions of interest from sheep farmers regarding the formation of a Canterbury Sheep Dairy Association. This is to create an organisation to facilitate the creation of an export-based industry within Canterbury. A meeting for all interested will be held at the Darfield Rugby Club at 7pm on Thursday.

Steve Wyn-Harris and Grant McCallum:
