Rubbish including an old vacuum has been dumped at the start of a walkway off Paradise Valley Rd.
A Paradise Valley Rd resident is putting rubbish dumpers on notice after seeing yet another pile of junk dumped at the start of her favourite walking track.
Anne May, who lives on Paradise Valley Rd, went to take visitors on her favourite walk up Mt Ngongotaha on Thursday last week
when she noticed a massive pile of rubbish dumped at the entrance .
She was so embarrassed by the eyesore, she didn't have the heart to take her visitors on the walk.
However, she took photos of the rubbish, including identifiable items and took them straight to the Rotorua Lakes Council, who told her they would clean it up and follow up any possible prosecutions.
She has since noticed the rubbish is gone.
