Sheep and lambs are selling well at the moment.

Sheep and lambs are selling well at the moment.

A small yarding of store lambs sold to strong demand at yesterday's Stortford Lodge sale.
The offering of about 1200 head of quality stock was in good demand, as were the ewes with lambs at foot.

Prices for cattle yarding of about 120 head reflected the quality of the offering.

Prime sale

Ewes and lambs remained strong at Monday's prime sale as lamb schedules head for the $6 mark.

The cattle prices were a reflection of the quality of the yarding 20 head.

The big yarding of lambs was mostly of outstanding quality. There were about 400 ewes on offer.
