About 480 cattle sold at Stortford Lodge yesterday.

About 480 cattle sold at Stortford Lodge yesterday.

A good yarding of about 480 cattle and about 1100 sheep sold on strong markets at the Stortford Lodge store sale yesterday.

The heat was no deterrent to buyers who bid briskly on a mostly quality offering.
A feature of the lamb sale was the 461 head offered by Wharehau Station,
Ohuka. The texel ram and ewe lambs sold well.
