Lambs sold well at Stortford Lodge.

Lambs sold well at Stortford Lodge.

A quality yarding of about 4500 store lambs sold on a strong market at Stortford Lodge yesterday.

Most of the lambs came from three vendors: Motere Station, Omakere, sold 1200 head, Glendale Station, Aropaoanui, sold about 1500 and T Chambers, Tutira, offered 695 head.
A feature of yarding was the outstanding
quality of most of the lambs.

A small yarding of about 90 head of cattle also sold well.

Buyers were from Hawke's Bay with support from Marton and Atiamuri.
