Lamb prices have lifted again.

Lamb prices have lifted again.

After a slight pause last week, store lamb prices lifted again at Stortford Lodge yesterday.
There were not many bargains to be had, especially among longer-term pens, as the outlook for lamb looks strong.

In the cattle sale a yarding of mostly R2 bulls sold strongly to buyers from Hawke's Bay with support from Hawera and Waikato.

Much of the yarding was simmental-cross bulls sold by Matangi Farm, Ashley Clinton. They all topped the $3/kg mark.

There was no prime sale this week.
