Truck crash in Hamurana.

The logging truck which has been upside down on the side of Hamurana Rd for a week has been removed.

The truck rolled on Hamurana Rd, near Central Rd, about 5.20pm on February 11.

The road, which is State Highway 36, was down to one lane and traffic was delayed as logs were removed from the crashed truck and put on to another truck.

The crash truck was then pulled on to its wheels and towed away.

"A lane closure will be in place between Oturoa Rd and 400m east of Gloucester Rd to allow for the retrieval of a logging truck that rolled on SH36 last week," the statement said.

The operation happened between 9am and 3pm and stop/go traffic management was in place alongside a 30km/h temporary speed limit.
