This unique South Taranaki property tucked away near Waverley has appeal to the serious rural investor.

A secluded South Taranaki property is sure to attract the attention of the serious rural investor.

Horadela is a 77.7ha gem hidden away near Waverley at 258 Okahutiria Rd, yet still a close distance to town and within comfortable commuting distance to the wider Taranaki and Whanganui regions.

The property has been newly developed, with the establishment of a 180sq m home and a massive workshop attached. The house is tastefully done; light and spacious with expansive views from the bedrooms and living area.

The workshop is a massive 20m by 15m, with two large roller doors on one end for access. It would serve well as a commercial or recreational workshop, or as storage for business and pleasure.

The grounds are newly-established and simply laid out.

A reliable water system using a combination of rain and spring water is delivered via a pressurised reticulation system to the 16ha of grazing land. For easy livestock handling a set of cattle yards are located next to the road.

With about 61ha of native bush, this property is a recreationist's delight.

Property Brokers agent Richard White says that, where required, nothing has been done by half and yet its simplicity is an attraction in itself and is wide open for you to stamp your own impression on.

"With views from this property encapsulating two mountains [Taranaki and Ruapehu], native bush, lush farmland, the sea and the South Island in the distance, inspiration must be nearly driven off the wall," Mr White said.

"And if you want to take even more advantage of the views, then there is an identified building site, with 360 degree views, where power has been put in place ready for that new build."

The nearest township of Waverley has retail and service outlets as well as a supermarket, service station, café and takeaway bar, bank and library. Waverley Beach, renowned for its interesting rock stacks and caves, is nearby while Waipipi Beach, which is flat and safe for swimming, offers fishing and offshore reef diving.

"The region's climate is very mild with the area's rainfall providing just the right level of moisture to ensure it maintains the vibrancy of the flora and fauna. The climate also bodes well for a region of sports fans — both participant and spectator."

It will be sold by negotiation.
