Shearing is a sport and it gets under The Country host Jamie Mackay's skin that people don't see it that way.
Former World Champion shearer Sir David Fagan isn't that worried however, he knows it's a huge sport in a very big industry and it's "uniquely Kiwi."
Sir David gives
us an update on the World Shearing and Woolhandling Champs in Invercargill in February 2017.
He also clears up the confusion between this event and the Golden Shears held in Masterton.
