The Steak of Station will be back at next month's A and P Spring Show. A previous champion, Simon Hyland from Taaheke Station, receives the winner's sash and cube roll from Paul Kirkpatrick.

The popular Steak of Station competition sponsored by Silver Fern Farms will be back at the annual Poverty Bay A&P Show on Friday, October 18 and entries have been called for.

“The search for Gisborne/East Coast’s best-tasting steak is on again,” said Silver Ferns Farms’ Paul Kirkpatrick.

The entries will be trucked on October 8.

“Entries can be a prime steer or heifer 220-370kgCW, with prizes that include cartons of delicious Silver Fern Farms ribeye (cube roll),” Kirkpatrick said.

“To enter please give me or your local agent a call, or email.”
