The weaner pens were full at Rongotea with buyers favouring a lighter hoof print as a wet autumn continues.

Two-year-old year white face steers 435 kg - 555 kg made up to $1495 ($2.70).
Two-year-old Hereford bulls 610 kg made $1730 ($2.84) and white face bulls 610 kg
made $1720 ($2.83).

Two-year-old white face heifers 368 kg - 438 kg made up to $1150 ($2.31 - $2.62) and Angus cross heifers 315 kg made $510 ($1.62). Friesian heifers 409 kg - 443 kg made up to $1070 ($2.38 - $2.41) and cross breed heifers 340 kg - 365 kg made up to $690 ($1.62 - $1.89).

Eighteen-month-old white face steers 377 kg made $920 ($2.44) and Angus steers 353 kg made $965 ($2.73).

Eighteen-month-old Friesian bulls 360 kg made $860 ($2.39).

Eighteen-month-old face heifers 300 kg - 375 kg made up to $950 ($2.53 - $2.62).
Yearling white face steers 159 kg - 218 kg made up to $810 ($3.44 - $4.48) and cross breed steers 225 kg made$710 ($3.16).

Yearling Friesian bulls 198 kg - 212 kg made up to $660 ($3.02 - $3.12) and cross breed bulls 240 kg made $560 ($2.33). White face bulls 135 kg - 235 kg made up to $710 ($2.75 - $3.41) and Jersey bulls 295 kg made $510 ($1.73).

Yearling white face heifers 151 kg - 190 kg made up to $695 ($3.21 - $4.09). Weaner white face steers 142 kg - 277 kg made up to $860 ($3.09 - $3.21) and cross breed steers 215 kg made $580 ($2.70).

Weaner Friesian bulls 132 kg - 200 kg made up to $705 ($2.02 - $3.86) and cross breed bulls 166 kg made $510 ($2.07). White face bulls 165 kg - 207 kg made up to $680 ($3.27 - $3.40) and Galloway bulls 235 kg made $620 ($2.64). Jersey bulls 167 kg - 235 kg made up to $460 ($1.94 - $2.30).

Weaner white face heifers 107 kg - 148 kg made up to $560 ($2.97 - $4.59) and Angus heifers 220 kg made $645 ($2.93). Angus cross 121kg made $440 ($3.64) and Jersey heifers 185 kg made $400 ($2.16).

In-calf Friesian cows made $710 - $810 and in-calf Jersey cows $560. RWB Ayrshire cross heifers made $630.

Friesian boner cows 417 kg - 555 kg made up to $890 ($1.36 - $1.66) and cross breed boners 295 kg - 502 kg made up to $760 ($1.48- $1.60). Jersey boners 331 kg made $440 ($1.33). Porkers made $95 - $107 and weaner pigs made $50 - $72. MA ewes made $93 and mixed sex lambs made $60 - $75.

Good Friesian bull calves made $300 - $345 and smaller calves made $220 - $280. White face bull calves made $150 - $350 and Angus bulls made $300. White face heifer calves made $150 - $380 and Friesian heifers made $80 - $100.
