There was a smaller sale at Rongotea on February 7 due to the short week with the Waitangi Day holiday.

2 year Friesian bulls 380kg made $1000 ($2.63) and white face bulls 382kg-455kg made up to $1200 ($2.64-$2.77).

2 year Red Poll steers 345kg made $1000 ($2.90) and cross breed steers 297kg made $700 ($2.35).

2 year white face heifers 370kg made $940 ($2.54).

Yearling Friesian bulls 260kg-292kg made up to $790 ($2.71-$2.77), white face bulls 260kg-365kg made up to $970 ($2.65-$2.73), Angus cross bulls 330 kg made $695 ($2.11) and cross breed bulls 259kg made $710 ($2.74).

Weaner white face steers 135kg-170kg made up to $540 ($2.47-$3.72).

Weaner Friesian bulls 77kg-175kg made up to $620 ($2.19-$3.54), white face bulls 104kg-180kg made up to $640 ($3.56-$5.11).

Speckle Park cross bulls 167 kg made $595 ($3.57) and cross breed bulls 150kg-190kg made up to $455 ($2.40-$2.93).

Weaner white face heifers 135kg-152kg made up to $565 ($3.40-$3.77).

White face cows with a calf at foot made $1630.

Friesian boner cows 482kg made $680 ($1.82), cross breed boners 295kg-507kg made up to $910 ($1.39-$1.85) and Jersey boners 365kg made $630 ($1.73).

Porkers made $95-$101 and weaner pigs made $20-$25.
