Lambs sold well at the yards in Hawke's Bay.

The best of the lamb offering of about 700 head sold well but some pens of smaller lambs were passed in at Monday's sale.

A small yarding of about 300 ewes also sold in line with their quality. There were no cattle on offer again.

PRICES

Ewes: Shorn, good, $130.50, $144.50; light, $120.50 to $124; slipe, med, $129, $130.50; light, $124; woolly, med, $128; light, $103; $119.

Lambs: Male, $129 to $180.50; b/f, $157.50, $170; ewe, $120 to $131.50; m/s, $110 to $155.50, b/f, $139 to $157.50.■
