Dirt bikers have been “terrifying livestock” and damaging newly-planted native trees, as well as endangering the public, police say.

Porirua police are seeking information about a group of five males who regularly ride dirt bikes from Waitangirua or Cannons Creek, across iwi land, into Belmont Park and then Belmont Farm.

“The group has been responsible for causing damage to multiple fences and newly planted native trees,” police said in a statement.
