Liz Read is Hawke's Bay Winegrowers new executive director.
Hawke's Bay Winegrowers has announced the contracted appointment of Liz Read to the role of Executive Director for the next 12 months.
Ms Read runs her own consultancy called Reputation Matters, helping organisations to grow, maintain and save their reputation. Her corporate experience included 10 years as External Relations Directorfor Lion New Zealand.
She was a member of Lion's New Zealand leadership team and her responsibilities included corporate and regulatory affairs, as well as leadership of Lion's community investment and sustainability strategies.
While maintaining business-as-usual, over the next 12 months she will focus on developing a five-year business strategy for Hawke's Bay Winegrowers.
Michael Henley, Chairman of Hawke's Bay Winegrowers said they were delighted to secure the services of such an experienced Executive.
